In Person & Online
The Jacksonville Office
In-person therapy in Mandarin, serving Jacksonville and the surrounding communities of North Florida.

Where the office is
12412 San Jose Blvd, #304A, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
The office sits on San Jose Boulevard in Mandarin, which makes it reachable from most of the southside without a long drive. There is parking on site, and the suite is quiet and private.
In-person sessions suit people who want a dedicated space away from home, families where a parent joins part of the session, and anyone who has found that video calls keep them at arm's length from the work.

The neighbourhood
Mandarin, and the water that runs through it
The office sits on San Jose Boulevard, in the stretch of Mandarin that still feels more river town than city. Live oaks, marsh grass, and the St Johns a few minutes west.
It is an easy drive from Julington Creek, Fruit Cove, Durbin, and most of northern St Johns County, and a straightforward one from San Marco, Avondale, and the beaches.
The city
Jacksonville, for people who are not from here
If you are searching from out of town, or weighing a drive across the river, this is the place you would be coming to.
In person or online
You do not have to choose once and forever
Mixing the two
Plenty of clients start in person and shift to telehealth during a busy season, or the reverse. Athletes in particular move between the two depending on where their schedule has them that month.
If you are outside the Jacksonville area but still in Florida, or in another PSYPACT state, telehealth covers you.
Working locally
Beyond individual therapy, I speak to teams, programs, coaching staffs, and parent groups around the area about eating disorders in sport and athlete mental health.
I also work alongside local providers when a client needs a wider treatment team, including physicians, dietitians, and physical therapists who genuinely understand athletes.
A note on searching locally
Finding a specialist in Jacksonville
Jacksonville has plenty of excellent generalist therapists. What is harder to find here, as almost everywhere, is someone trained specifically in both sport psychology and eating disorder treatment, which is the intersection this practice was built for.
If you are searching for a sport psychologist or an eating disorder therapist near you and finding thin results, that is not your imagination. It is the reason telehealth exists alongside this office.
Who I see locally
The Jacksonville practice in particular
Local swimmers, runners, and club athletes
North Florida is dense with year-round swimming, distance running, and competitive club programs, which are exactly the sports where fueling and body pressure show up early.
High school and college athletes
Ages 15 and up, including athletes home for the summer from programs elsewhere. Continuity matters, and telehealth covers the months they are away.
Adults who are not athletes at all
A large part of the local caseload is professionals, parents, and students dealing with eating concerns, anxiety, or perfectionism, with no sport involved.

Practical details
That depends where you are starting from. The office is in Mandarin, on San Jose Boulevard, which is a short drive from Julington Creek, Fruit Cove, Durbin, and most of northern St Johns County, and around twenty to thirty minutes from San Marco, Avondale, and the beaches. If the drive is the thing standing in the way, telehealth removes it entirely.
