Services

Specialized care, not a general practice

Every service here is a genuine specialty, shaped by years of clinical work and a competitive athletic background of my own.

Where to start

You do not have to arrive with the right words

Most people find their way here through one of two doors. Either food, movement, or your body has taken up more room in your head than you want it to, or something in your performance has stopped feeling the way it used to.

Those two doors open into the same room more often than people expect. The athlete who cannot stop thinking about weight and the athlete who cannot stop thinking about the last race are frequently the same person on different days.

You are welcome through either door, and you do not need a diagnosis, a tidy explanation, or a certain level of severity to book a consultation.

How I work

An integrative approach, tailored to you

The methods

My treatment draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, with an emphasis on interpersonal process and a self-compassionate lens.

In practice that means we look at the thoughts, the behavior, and the relationships all together, rather than picking one and hoping it carries the rest. Which of those leads depends entirely on what you bring.

My experience across different levels of care means I know when and how to adjust a treatment plan, and when to bring other providers into the picture.

The feel of it

I am all about creating a safe, non-judgmental space that is genuine, down to earth, and empathetic, but in a way that will challenge you to make the progress you deserve.

Together we celebrate the victories, big and small, and tackle the challenges head on. You will not get a blank stare and a nod for fifty minutes.

I also practice cultural humility, so that everyone who walks in feels welcome and understood, and so that the work fits your life rather than a template of it.

Getting started

Three steps, and the first one is free

  1. 01

    Reach out

Use the contact form or book straight through the secure client portal. It takes a couple of minutes and commits you to nothing.

  2. 02

    A 15 minute consultation

We talk about what is going on and whether I am the right fit. If I am not, I will say so and point you somewhere better.

  3. 03

    Begin the work

We set goals together in the first full session and build a plan around your life, your season, and your pace.

Common questions

Before you pick a service

Performance psychology is the part of this work that deals with how you hold up under pressure: focus, confidence, nerves, recovering from a mistake, and the identity questions that come with competing. It sits alongside the clinical work rather than replacing it, and most people here turn out to need some of both.

Not sure which one fits?

That is exactly what the free 15 minute consultation is for. We talk it through and figure it out together.
